What is a Cyst and Mole Treatment?
Cyst and mole treatment typically involves an in-office procedure to remove the lesion. Cysts—fluid-filled sacs beneath the skin—can be excised or drained depending on their type and recurrence. Moles are typically shaved or surgically excised based on size, depth, and location. Lipomas, or fatty tumors, are also removed through small incisions. All excised tissue may be sent for pathology if there’s any concern.
