Dr. Samir Shah is a board certified plastic surgeon with an established practice focusing on breast, body, and facial aesthetics.  His approach with patients is individualized and honest. He enjoys combining his artistic sense with surgical expertise to create natural and beautiful results.

Dr. Samir Shah graduated college from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a major in finance. He earned his medical degree at the Chicago Medical School. Thereafter, he trained in general surgery and subsequently completed a plastic surgery fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center. After plastic surgery training, he completed a one-year fellowship in hand surgery/microsurgery under the direction of world-renowned hand surgeon, Larry Hurst, M.D., at Stony Brook University, Long Island, NY

Training and Experience

He has published numerous scholarly articles in medical journals, and he is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Illinois Society of Plastic Surgery, and the American Society of Hand Surgery. He has received his certificate of qualification for Hand Surgery.

Dr. Samir Shah participates in plastic surgery resident education at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has academic appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Plastic Surgery. He is also site director for the aesthetic rotation at A New You. Plastic surgery residents rotate with Dr. Samir Shah, and he teaches them principles of aesthetic surgery. He also lectures locally to various organizations.

Dr. Shaw and his staff are absolutely amazing!! He does impeccable work and his staff Always makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed!! I would highly recommend them to everyone! Definitely give them a five star!!

Dr. Shah and his team are amazing! They answered any questions I had before the procedure and helped calm my nerves the day of. They are very supportive and caring through out the whole process. Amazing experience for sure!

I highly recommend Dr. Samir Shah for all your filler and Botox needs. I’ve been to med spas before, and while some providers did a good job, I reached a point in my late 40s—approaching 50—where I wanted someone who truly had my best interest in mind. I have been a patient of Dr.Shah Senior for 40 years , having had 10 plus procedures with him over the years . We have literally grown old together LOL ! Always excellent results . Now I am a patient of Dr. Samir having my breast reduction done recently. Again excellent results !!! I have always been VERY happy !!! Dr.Shah has always had the BEST staff and that is very important. So hats off to the staff as well ! Thank you for excellent care of me over the years !
